It’s All About the Vibe
We were approached by Conwest Group and Avison Young with a very special project. They had purchased property which included a heritage house and instead of opting to tear the house down they decided to preserve and refurbish the home and incorporate it into their new commercial project on East 6th. It was up to us to showcase the uniqueness of this project while appealing to the historic society and the Mount Pleasant community.
We wanted to create a brand and marketing strategy that expressed the vibrancy and community of Mount Pleasant. Although there was a great deal of history behind HOUSS, we didn’t want it to be the main focus. We wanted the community to be the main story of the brand while the history added to the uniqueness of the project.
We wanted Houss to be one of the most extravagantly marketed commercial properties in Vancouver, taking cues from residential marketing strategies, so we worked with the Vancouver Historical Society and local artists as well as the surrounding businesses to help create the look and feel of HOUSS.
We developed a full brand manifesto, strategy and personality for HOUSS. From there we developed the content, print marketing materials, signage and the website and the 2000 sq.ft sales centre; including the design, layout and strategy for the flow through.
In the end we created a very unique, modern and special brand and marketing strategy that earned the respect and excitement of the community and attracted buyers who are visionaries.
